50M tokens. One sponsor panel. $14 a month.

A paid DeepSeek plan for OpenCode today. The license is also the broker key, so one credential covers model access, token metering, and the sponsor panel that funds the budget. Our goal is to make it free as advertiser demand grows.

What’s included

Everything in the terminal workflow.

No separate provider key. No ad-free upgrade. No surprise add-ons.

50M tokens

A real monthly budget

DeepSeek V4.1 Flash through the Freebuild broker. The upstream key stays server-side and usage is metered per request. Cached input counts at 2%; output at 4×.

One panel

One impression per run

A sponsor panel appears while the agent works. It stays for the run, remains clickable, and never plays audio or video.

Setup

One command to connect

/freebuild-license opens Checkout and writes the provider. Then run /connect, choose Freebuild, and paste the key.

Recovery

Reveal or rotate by email

Sign in with the email used at Checkout. Reveal the key on a new machine, rotate a stolen one, or open billing.

Usage

Visible every step

/freebuild-plan shows used, reserved, and remaining tokens for the UTC month.

Billing

Stripe, not a black box

/freebuild-billing opens the Stripe customer portal for payment methods, invoices, and cancellation.

Where this is going

Our goal is a coding agent cheaper than anyone. The Sponsored plan is $14/month today. Advertising revenue funds the model tokens, and enough advertiser demand lets us keep lowering the price.

What you get on screen

One panel. One run. One impression.

The sponsor panel is part of the plan. It is not a carousel and it does not rotate mid-run. A long run gives the sponsor more visible time, but it remains one impression.

1

The run starts. The panel appears beside the agent session.

2

The panel stays visible. It remains clickable while the agent works.

3

The run ends. One impression with a recorded visible duration.

Pricing questions

Before you start.

Is there a free plan?

No. The paid Sponsored plan is the only plan today. Our goal is to make the terminal free as advertiser demand grows; we’re not there yet.

What does founding beta access include?

Anyone who joins during the beta gets early access to every new feature and plan before public release, and a direct say in what we build next.

Can I remove the sponsor panel?

No. The panel is part of the Sponsored plan. There is no hide switch and no paid ad-free upgrade.

Why a license key if ads are shown?

The key gates broker access, meters token usage, attributes impressions to an install, and lets a canceled or unpaid subscription be revoked.

What happens when I hit 50M tokens?

The broker rejects further model calls for that UTC month. The quota resets at the start of the next UTC month. Tokens are weighted: cached input counts at 2%, fresh input at 100%, and output at 400%, matching the upstream model's prices. /freebuild-plan shows the current state.

How are tokens counted?

Every request reports cached and fresh input plus output. The broker bills cached input at 2% of its raw size, fresh input at 100%, and output at 400%. That ratio matches DeepSeek's prices, so 50M weighted tokens is a real monthly cost budget rather than a raw context counter. Long agent sessions with high cache hits go much further than their raw token counts suggest.

What happens if I cancel?

The Stripe webhook marks the subscription inactive. The broker rejects new requests and the sponsor panel closes. You can resubscribe with /freebuild-license.

What if my key is stolen?

Sign in at the account page and rotate it. The new key keeps the remaining tokens, period, and billing; the old key stops working immediately. Paste the new key with /freebuild-key.

Where are receipts and payment methods?

Stripe sends receipts. /freebuild-billing opens the customer portal for payment methods, invoices, and cancellation.

More agents

The same plan is coming to Pi next. Crush is in license review. Kilo Code, Cline, and OpenHands are later.
