By using freebuild you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. This is a small experimental service; it is not a law firm, a backup service, or a guarantee that generated code is correct.
The service
freebuild lets you ask an AI agent to create or edit code in a workspace. The web builder is free and funded by ads. Freebuild Terminal is a paid subscription described below. The service may queue, rate-limit, time out, or stop a task. Availability is not guaranteed. We may change or discontinue features.
Freebuild Terminal subscription
Freebuild Terminal has one plan: Sponsored, $14 per month, billed in advance through Stripe. By subscribing you agree to the following:
- The plan includes 50,000,000 weighted broker tokens per UTC month. Cached input counts at 2% of its raw token count, fresh input at 100%, and output at 400%, matching upstream model pricing. Unused tokens do not roll over, and the broker stops serving requests when the monthly limit is reached.
- The sponsor panel is mandatory while the license is active. There is no ad-free or free tier.
- The license key is a bearer credential. Anyone who has it can use the quota, so keep it secret. If it is exposed, rotate it at /account; the new key keeps the remaining quota.
- The subscription renews monthly until you cancel it in the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops future charges, and access continues until the end of the paid period. After that the broker rejects requests.
- A failed payment may suspend access. Suspension does not erase the license or its remaining quota, and paying restores access.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Contact us for billing errors or duplicate charges.
- We may revoke a license for abuse, chargebacks, or a violation of these terms.
Your account and repositories
- Repository features require GitHub sign-in. The terminal plan does not: the email used at checkout is the account identity.
- You confirm that you have permission to access, clone, modify, and push to any repository you connect.
- You are responsible for reviewing every change before merging or deploying it. Generated code may be incomplete, insecure, or wrong.
- Do not use the service on repositories containing secrets or regulated data unless you are comfortable with the workspace being processed on our server and by the model provider.
Acceptable use
You may not use freebuild to:
- break the law, infringe rights, or distribute malware;
- attack, probe, overload, or bypass the service's limits, ad gate, or sponsor panel;
- access another user's workspace or repository without permission;
- generate content that is illegal, abusive, or intended to cause harm.
We may suspend or block access, delete workspaces, or report abuse. Daily limits are enforced per network and across the service; attempts to evade them are a violation of these terms.
Sponsors and third parties
Freebuild Terminal shows sponsor content in the terminal panel and on the plan page. Your interactions with a sponsor are between you and that sponsor. The web builder also displays ads from Adsterra and HilltopAds. The service uses Stripe for billing, GitHub for optional sign-in, the model provider for inference, and Resend for email; their terms apply to their parts of the flow.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that generated code is secure, correct, or suitable for production.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, freebuild and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, repositories, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which is zero if you have not paid.
