Built for real work

The terminal, without the token anxiety.

Freebuild keeps the model, the license, and the sponsor panel in one workflow.

01
50M tokens

A real monthly budget

Use up to 50 million weighted broker tokens per UTC month. Cached context counts at 2%, so long agent sessions go much further. No per-request surprises and no separate provider key in your terminal.

02
One license

OpenCode, ready to run

The plugin connects the Freebuild provider, stores the license, and gives you the usual /freebuild-* commands.

03
Sponsor funded

One panel. No carousel.

A single sponsor panel appears while the agent works. It stays for the run, stays clickable, and never plays audio or video.

Where this is going

Our goal: a coding agent cheaper than anyone.

Today the Sponsored plan is $14/month. We send the benefit of every ad directly back to users instead of keeping it in the middle, so we can keep cutting the price. The goal is to offer a coding agent cheaper than anyone, and eventually free for everyone.

Today

$14/month

Ads lower your cost

Every campaign funds the model tokens and is passed back to users as lower pricing.

03
Goal

Cheaper than anyone

Advertiser demand lets us keep lowering the price until our coding agent is cheaper than anyone, and eventually free for everyone.

What you see

One panel. One run. One impression.

The sponsor panel is part of the Sponsored plan. It is not an ad-free product, and it does not rotate mid-run.

1

A sponsor panel opens when an agent run starts.

2

It stays visible while the agent works and remains clickable.

3

A long run is still one impression, with more visible time.

Questions

Good to know.

What happens when I hit 50M tokens?

The broker rejects further model calls for that UTC month. Your quota resets at the start of the next UTC month. Tokens are weighted: cached input counts at 2%, fresh input at 100%, and output at 400%, matching the upstream model's prices. You can see usage with /freebuild-plan.

How are tokens counted?

Every request reports cached and fresh input plus output. The broker bills cached input at 2% of its raw size, fresh input at 100%, and output at 400%. That ratio matches DeepSeek's prices, so 50M weighted tokens is a real monthly cost budget rather than a raw context counter. Long agent sessions with high cache hits go much further than their raw token counts suggest.

Why is the terminal paid today?

Advertising revenue does not yet cover the full model budget. The Sponsored plan keeps the service running while we grow advertiser demand. Our goal is to offer a coding agent cheaper than anyone: one cheap subscription, or free for everyone.

What does founding beta access include?

Anyone who joins during the beta gets early access to every new feature and plan before public release, and a direct say in what we build next.

Can I hide the sponsor panel?

No. The Sponsored plan includes one sponsor panel per run. There is no ad-free tier.

Does the panel slow down the agent?

No. The panel is rendered beside the agent session and does not block model calls, tool calls, or the run completion.

How do I recover or rotate my license?

Your account has the email used at Checkout. You can reveal the key on a new machine, rotate a stolen key, or open the Stripe billing portal.

What does the sponsor panel track?

The terminal reports campaign exposure and clicks using a random session and install ID, plus token usage for your monthly quota. It does not send your prompts or code to advertisers. See privacy.
